Hope everyone’s day has gone well. I’ve had a fairly tough one, for a range of reasons, and decided to sit down and carry on with the corset when I got home. I had sewn black sequins along one side when on holiday, and had begun sewing pearlised cup sequins over the boning:
I had hoped to carry on with it tonight, needing some chillaxationalising time to myself. However, when I picked up the box of sequins, I discovered this:
Nowhere near enough! And guess who can’t find – within the four or five containers of beads I have – the spare box I thought I knew I had? Moi. So now I’m faced with: deciding to wait to see if I can purchase more (likely); cutting them off and starting again (possible if above fails); throwing the whole thing in the bin (potential, given I’m going off it and need an excuse to get rid so I can focus on my beloved machine instead – herein after referred to as Monty; mammoth, robust, and full of wondrous potential; or putting it to one side, open a beer, and watch a movie…
The movie wins, whilst I decide if I can face more beading. Any of youse ever start something before realising you won’t be able to finish because you’ll run out of stuff? Majorly frustrating grrr!!!
